The social media integration allows the Voyage Manager services to automatically post travellers’ travel status updates, allowing friends, family and colleagues to easily follow the progress of their trips. Through automation travellers do not have to perform any additional actions in order for their statuses to be updated, making the process effortless.
Voyage Manager recommends that clients using the social media features do so with care, as publishing travel and location details on these platforms can compromise security. Clients can enable or disable the social media integration at the company level. Each individual traveller can also choose whether or not to publish their data through the social channels, but only if the company has enabled the feature. For security reasons all social media integration is disabled by default, requiring the client to enable the features, should they choose to use them.
